I tried running the install.php script on my local machine that's running XAMPP 7.4.27 for Linux, on a computer that's running Linux Mint 20.3. After creating the empty database and the db user I start the installation, entering the credentials, and very soon get the following errors:

Warning: file_get_contents(/opt/lampp/htdocs/cinnk/dump_joomla4.sql): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /opt/lampp/htdocs/cinnk/install.php on line 90

Warning: file_get_contents(/opt/lampp/htdocs/cinnk/configuration.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /opt/lampp/htdocs/cinnk/install.php on line 98
Impossible d'extraire l'archive.

Both of the two files do exist but they have 0 bytes. I've installed Joomla 3 and 4 both several times on this environment without a problem, so I'm not sure where else to look.

I'm currently waiting for a re-send of a discount code to use on scarssity.com, where I'll try the online installation if need be.

Thanks for any help!

The install.php script downloaded joomla4en_cinnk.zip, which includes those two 0-byte files, so after extracting that zip file I tried running the install script. After a few moments I got "Impossible d'extraire l'archive." at the top of the same "Install Your Website" page, but just going to the root of the site gave me a loaded and ready-to-go site. The only catch --- there wasn't an installation process that let me set the admin user password. I see a user with the email address I entered in the Install page, so what's the default password? I tried blank, 'password', 'cinnk' ... my imagination fails me.

Any help? Thanks!

... Edit of that previous post: When I said joomla4en_cinnk.zip contained those two 0-byte files, it included those two files reported in the error messages, but they weren't 0-bytes, they contained data.

Just a clarification

The installation process did not allow me to change the admin user password. What is the default password because I can see a user with the email address I provided on the Setup page? idle breakout
